Our New CEO

Over the past few months, we embarked on an exhaustive search with the support of an executive search firm for our next CEO. It was a significant task given the incredible pool of talent that expressed interest in the role. The competition for this pivotal position was notably high, with exceptionally qualified candidates from both the United States and Canada, from across governments, non-profits, foundations, and the private sector.

As the Chair and Vice Chair of Digital Public Square, we are delighted to announce that Shlomit Broder, who has been serving our organization with distinction as our Program Director, will be taking on the mantle of CEO.

The solid foundation upon which Digital Public Square stands today is a testament to the leadership of our outgoing CEO, Farhaan Ladhani. We have witnessed the organization's transformative journey under his stewardship, and it's this very momentum we aim to continue. Shlomit has been an integral part of this narrative for the past five years as she’s taken on increasingly senior roles in the organization. Her dedication, expertise, and innovative approaches have been instrumental in several of our successes. As we transition into this new chapter, it is with utmost confidence and enthusiasm that we envision Shlomit continuing and elevating our legacy.

With Shlomit at the helm, we are poised to further our mission, reach new heights, and continue our impact across the globe.
